Cane Island Hosts Return of Free Summer Concert Series

The Katy community of Cane Island will host the return of its popular summer concert series starting with two live music performances in June, free and open to the public, in the confines of its tree-lined Cane Quarter.

This year’s concert series on Cane Quarter’s central lawn kicks off Saturday, June 1 with the Wayne Johnson Trio starting at 7 p.m. The series continues Friday, June 21 with the Thomas Dickerson Duo also starting at 7 p.m. For a complete list of this year’s summer concerts, go to www.CaneIsland.com and click on Events or call (281) 725-6555. 

Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. Visitors also can enjoy the live music sounds from Cane Island’s onsite restaurant, The Oaks Kitchen & Bar, situated just steps from the performance stage.

Cane Quarter is located at 2100 Cane Island Parkway in the heart of the Katy community of new homes.

To reach Cane Island, take the Cane Island Parkway exit off Interstate 10 minutes west of the Grand Parkway. Head north on Cane Island Parkway and take the roadway directly into the community. Cane Quarter is on the right just past Cane Island’s signature Living Arches.
