Cane Island Hosts Classic Car Show & Market

Katy’s Cane Island will host the return of its popular classic car show as the Katy community of new homes, in partnership with West Houston Muscle, presents the best in vintage and exotic cars along with vendor booths and children’s activities on Saturday, July 8 from 9 – 11 a.m.

Free and open to the public in the community’s Cane Quarter, 2100 Cane Island Parkway, Cars n Tunes is the perfect spot for classic car aficionados to visit or for those looking for a fun outing with the family.  Every entry is available for an up-close look with owners available to chat about their most prized possessions. As always, photos are encouraged.  

When it’s time to take a break from the chrome, steel and wheels, families can browse a market boasting more than 25 vendor booths offering fun gift finds and unique items for the home.

Cars n Tunes also will feature an interactive DJ, inflatables and children’s games, Ziggy’s Coffee along with kolaches and doughnuts by Glaze Doughnuts.

Cane Island’s collection of showcase models homes, each fully furnished and expertly decorated, also will be open with free admission. 

To reach Cars n Tunes, take the Cane Island Parkway exit off Interstate 10 minutes west of the Grand Parkway.  Head north on Cane Island Parkway one half mile to reach the community entrance. Ample onsite parking is available.
